The French Academy DC MD VA, LLC is a small French school located in Alexandria (VA) and Washington DC. Our mission is to provide the very highest quality French language instruction in order to help people become better global citizens. We create a fun and friendly environment that immerses students in the language and culture, ensuring students learn French effectively and quickly. We offer private lessons, group classes for adults and children, as well as for corporations.

We are looking for volunteers or interns for volunteer work / unpaid internship to assist our school / marketing director for 2 to 3 months to help us with our Summer Camps.
Dates should be from Mid Mai to Mid August, or at least from end of June to Mid August.

Location: 5749 Governors Pond Cir Alexandria VA22310 USA, Or Chevy Chase Washington DC.

Tasks:
- Assist with the organization of the camps: materials, schedules, logistik.
- From end of June to end of August: assist with summer camps (planning, materials, games and crafts, registration papers).
- Update and boost our social media websites: X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and blogs.
- Update our web site on web forums, classified, event sites etc.
- Help us to better our communication with videos and pictures of our camps.

Qualifications:
● Computer proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
● Knowledge of various social media and marketing tools including Facebook, Instagram, X, Linkedin, YouTube, etc.
● Good written English, must be able to write class descriptions, and emails to contacts.
● Interested in education, some teaching experience is a plus.
● Excellent French skills (advanced or native).
